In order to make «Rezonver» products lightweight, portable and reliable, we have developed a unique resonant energy conversion technique. As a current supply source, a resonant HF inverter is used in «Rezonver» devices. As opposed to conventional pulse inverters, we use resonant circuits to form a sinusoidal electric current wave form within the power circuits of the converter.

CONVERSION OF ENERGY WITH THE HELP OF THE RESONANCE TECHNOLOGY:

  • reduces heat loss of the inverter,
  • makes it possible to increase the conversion frequency,
  • reduces electromagnetic spectrum, which positively influences the electromagnetic compatibility of electric and radio equipment.

Resonant inverters feature increased coefficient of energy conversion (up to 98%), low sensibility to short circuits and higher reliability. Due to the high conversion frequency (up to 200 Hz), which is inapproachable to conventional pulse inverters, resonant inverters have small size and low weight.

The arc in a plasmatron is started by a touch.

To power-supply the welding and cutting arcs, a resonant inverter forms essential constant voltage and current with appropriate characteristics and isolated from the mains.

THE RESONANT CONVERSION TECHNIQUE MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO SWITCH THE POWER PLANT UNIT IN A SOFT SWITCHOVER REGIME, AVOIDING THE HARD SWITCHOVER, WHICH DESTROYS THE TRANSISTORS OF THE POWER PLANT UNIT IN TRADITIONAL DEVICES WITH PULSE INVERTERS.
